"BRIDGING THE GAP VARIETY SHOW" was held at St. James United Methodist Church in Raleigh on Saturday, August 15th

The Senior Network and St. James United Methodist Church partnered to bring you the first "Bridging the Gap Variety Show".



Greeters were available to welcome everyone and give them a program.



Many made new friends at the ice cream social preceding the show.





The MC's were daughter and father team, Meredith and Keith Walkowiak


First to perform were the New Hope Strummers and Friends

A MEMBER OF ST. JAMES UNITED METHODIST CHURCH AND A REGULAR PERFORMER FOR THE SENIOR NETWORK, SHEILA DEBASTIANI SANG "YOU'VE GOT A FRIEND IN ME" WITH HER GRANDSON LOGAN.


"Bootsey and Mitch" were next with "Let It Be Me" (Everly Brothers) and "I Got You Babe" (Sonny & Cher)

St. James Liturgical Dancers (Louise Gibbs and mother/daughter, Chandra and Kaylee Rigda) were next.

Sharon Johnson was a big hit!



April Anders, a frequest musician for The Senior Network, took the stage.


Wanda Ramm was next and surprised a member of the Board of Directors of The Senior Network (Cam Currin) when she sang to him.

Next on stage was The Senior Network's Entertainment Director Tom Del Corro.

Tom stayed on stage to accompany Victoria Voight.

Amanda Bunce (pastor of St. James UMC) performed next

Cheryl Walfall-Flagg performed to "Come Jesus Come"


Popular performer from The Senior Network, Steve Pfanenstiel, was next.

The Common Thread Band closed the show!

The audience loved the show - young and the elderly all performing on the same stage - the audience also was diverse.


The Senior Network's shuttle bus pulled up and those that came on the bus, got on and returned to their homes.
