Volunteering

The Senior Network needs your help serving Wake Forest's senior community.

The more involved we become with our own, individual lives, surrounded by a world of comfort and technology, the faster we tend to forget about the physical and material needs that burden many around us. Did you know that Wake Forest, North Carolina is home to nearly 3,000 seniors? Did you know that Wake Forest is also home to over 20 assisted living facilities?

What does this mean for The Senior Network? Well, for starters, it means that there are hundreds of seniors in need of assistance right here in our own backyards. Whether that need be a ride to church, a pick up from the grocery store, or some company on a lonely day, The Senior Network wants to help fulfill that need and build a genuine relationship with the individual being served.

So what are you waiting for? Do you have some spare time throughout the week? Get in contact with us today and we will help you get involved in The Senior Network! Not only does this provide you with an amazing opportunity to positively impact the life of a senior living here in Wake Forest, but it also give you the opportunity to make new friends, create amazing connections, and experience aspects of life which can only be found through fellowship and community with those around you.

At the present time, everyone involved with The Senior Network is a volunteer.  Although The Senior Network needs many volunteers, its volunteer staff also networks with other non-profits and businesses to see what their needs are.  Volunteering should be enjoyable and if you are willing to give of your time, it should be doing something of interest to you as well as helping others.

The Senior Network will give you credit for community hours.  Please fill out the form below and we will be in touch.
