An event for seniors in Wake Forest, helping to build community, friendship, and support.
Did you know that The Senior Network meets every third Saturday of the month for a time of fellowship, fun, and community? Every meeting we invite two guest speakers to our gathering!
The first speaker typically informs the group of opportunities for seniors in the local community, such as lodging, banking, etc. Quite recently, we had the wonderful opportunity of hosting John Mainey from Made4Me. John, the organization's current interim executive director, was able to inform the group of his non-profit and all the work that Made4Me is doing to provide assistance for seniors in the local community with special needs.
The second speaker typically shares a personal testimony or life story. Whether it be a trip to a foreign land or an unusual experience right here in Wake Forest, we love to hear how the Lord is working in people's lives.
